Publication

Publication opportunities
The following publication opportunities are available to participants who present at the conference. Delivering a presentation is a prerequisite for consideration for publication through these opportunities.
Following the conference, authors may indicate whether they wish to submit a paper based on their presentation for inclusion in the conference proceedings or for consideration by Prosperitas.
The full manuscript submission deadline for both options is 15 January 2027.
1. Conference proceedings
Conference papers may be published in peer-reviewed conference proceedings with an ISBN. Submissions should be 10–12 pages long, written in Hungarian or English, and prepared using the conference manuscript template and formatting guidelines.
Manuscripts will undergo peer review. Authors will receive consolidated reviewer comments and will be required to revise their papers where necessary. Publication is subject to a favourable review outcome, satisfactory completion of the requested revisions, and compliance with the formatting requirements.
2. Prosperitas
Prosperitas is the Scopus- and DOAJ-indexed, English-language, open-access academic journal of Budapest University of Economics and Business. It publishes research addressing current problems and challenges facing businesses across the fields of business, management, finance, economics and accounting.
Manuscripts submitted for journal consideration must be written in English, be 7,000–8,000 words long, and comply with the Prosperitas author guidelines. The conference organisers will conduct an initial screening and, with the authors’ agreement, forward selected papers to the editorial team. The editors, in consultation with the parties concerned, will determine whether a paper should be considered for a regular issue or, where the topic fits, a special issue.
A recommendation from the organisers or an invitation to submit does not guarantee acceptance. Manuscripts that proceed to peer review will undergo a double-blind review process. Authors will receive reviewer feedback and will be required to revise their manuscripts where necessary. Final acceptance decisions rest with the journal’s editors.

Additional journal opportunity: Acta Wekerleensis
If a manuscript is not accepted by Prosperitas, authors may, following consultation, be offered the opportunity to submit it to Acta Wekerleensis: Economy and Society.
Acta welcomes papers in both Hungarian and English. Manuscripts originally prepared for Prosperitas may therefore be submitted in English, provided they are adapted to Acta’s own content and formatting requirements.
Manuscripts will undergo double-blind peer review. Authors will receive reviewer comments and may be asked to revise their papers. Publication decisions will be made by the editors based on the reviews and, where applicable, the revised manuscript.
