On July 12, Wekerle Sándor Business School held its traditional graduation ceremony to honour students completing their studies this year across various programs. Proud graduates crossed the stage in black gowns and caps, surrounded by family, friends, and faculty members who joined in celebrating this important milestone.
This ceremony was not only a key moment in the lives of our graduating students, but also a historic one for Wekerle Business School itself, as it marked the last graduation held under this name. From August 1, the institution will continue its journey as Wekerle International University.
In their speeches, both Dr. Imre Balogh, Rector of WSUF, and President Junkai Ma encouraged graduates to look to the future with confidence. Dr. Balogh shared personal insights and reflected on timeless wisdom by quoting great thinkers, while Ms. Ma spoke about the rapid evolution of technology and artificial intelligence, inspiring students to stay curious, adaptive, and courageous as they step into a changing world.
The celebration closed with the traditional tossing of caps, a joyful symbol of completion and new beginnings.
Congratulations to all our new graduates - we wish you continued success, both professionally and personally. Stay connected! Your journey with WSUF doesn’t end here!
